Another Good Weekend
This past weekend was extremely busy, but a lot of fun. I’m still catching up, and I have a feeling I won’t until this coming weekend.
The Josh Martin Band set up equipment and rehearsed at Cedarmore last Thursday night, in preparation for Crossings for Kids on Friday & Saturday. After the last worship session on Saturday afternoon, we hauled tail to New Castle to perform at New Castle Christian Church’s 175th Anniversary. The only drawback was having to be there and set up by 6:00 p.m., and we didn’t play until 11:00 p.m.
Sunday morning was rough…. I got back to Frankfort very late from New Castle, and didn’t get much sleep. It was nice to be able to take a nap that afternoon, and another one later in the evening.
New LexingtonBrassBand.com
Tonight, I completed the redesign of the Lexington Brass Band’s website. Go check it out and let me know what you think.
A member of the band who handles website duties for Berea College’s library will be feeding me with information. This will be a good thing. In the past, the director has been the one to provide me with content, and he’s very busy. The site was hardly ever updated. Hopefully, the new site will stay up-to-date with good information.
