Living for Monday
Ironically, it’s a Saturday, and I’m looking forward to Monday. He’s my reasoning:
- I teach drum lessons on Monday nights. I really enjoy teaching lessons, and on top of it, I make a little extra money. At the same time, I’m looking forward to a couple of weeks off from lessons due to the holidays. I’ll be ready to go again after the first of the year.
- Faster internet! When I moved in with Brad, he had 128K (the slowest cable modem speed offered by FPB). I offered to pay extra rent if he’d upgrade to a faster speed. Due to a glitch in their system, they lost his upgrade request, and I’ve patiently waited for them to fix the problem. Thanks to having a connection through CLS, I was able to make a call on Friday and get to the heart of the issue. By Monday, we’ll be surfing here at the house at 2 Meg speed. Finally, uploading stuff to websites, and downloading audio & video won’t take forever.
- Monday Night Football – Bengals vs. Colts. This is a huge game for the Bengals’ playoff hopes. I’ll surely be watching. I’m a firm believer in picking a team and cheering for them. That’s how I’ve always been. I’ll always be a die-hard Reds, Bengals, Bulls, Wildcats and Tigers fan. But… I have to admit… if I were to cheer for another NFL team, it would be the Colts.
I figured looking forward to a Monday deserved a blog post. It’ll probably never happen again.
