New Routine

with one comment

Some of you may not believe this, but – I was up by at least 6 a.m. every day this past week. A couple of mornings, I was able to crawl out of bed around 5 or 5:30. Have I gone crazy? Not really. I just decided to move my daily reading time to the morning, instead of the last thing before bed. In this time, I’ll do my “quiet time” (Bible-reading, devotional stuff, prayer, etc.). It’s been a great feeling starting the day this way. I think I’ll keep it up. In fact, tomorrow’s Saturday, and I’m actually looking forward to NOT sleeping in. Go figure.

  1. I don’t think it really matters when you do your Bible study and prayer time as long as you can work time in for the Lord sometime during the day but I do feel that morning is a very good time because you’re refreshed and your mind has been renewed by a good nights rest. It also helps you put your day into prospective before it really ever gets started. When the devil tries to defeat you at some point during the day, you’re dressed and ready for the days battle with him by having your full armor of God on.
