On Websites. Part Dos.
Disclaimer: By blogging about progress on current web projects, I feel it obligates me to actually work on them. With that said….
From my list that I made in my previous post, here’s what’s been accomplished:
- Brad’s Music Center site – this site is currently done, but I’m experiencing technical issues with the web host, which is frustrating. It’s the same issue as with the Saxton’s Cornet Band site – both sites have been transferred to a new host, and the old host isn’t cooperating.
- Distinct Impressions – I have given the site a facelift, and now I just need to add the new content I’ve been given to update the site.
- Personal site – this should be ready by this weekend. I’ve finished work on the design, and just need to add content.
- Wireless Blue – I’m kicking around ideas for a design right now. I need to go to the store and take pictures to be used as part of the design.
I’m currently working with Tim Chase to learn the ins and outs of content management systems, along with reading through PHP & MySQL for Dummies. This is extremely valuable knowledge that will come in handy (read into that what you will) once I learn what I’m doing.
