Picking the font for the NLTse

I came across the article below while researching the NLTse (New Living Translation 2nd edition). I’m sure you can file this under the “geek” category, but as a designer, I found it interesting.

It talks about Tyndale wanting to minimize production costs with the increased volume of text in the NLTse. They ultimately chose a different font to be used with the NLTse, that would enable them to use less paper & ink.
