3. Cool Edit Pro - this is what I use for mastering my recordings. I’ve yet to find a Mac-compatible program that has the same features at CEP. I know a lot of the ins and outs of CEP, so I’m hesitant to learn a new program, and risk sacrificing the quality of my recordings.
I found an mda Dynamics plugin in Tracktion that works great for mastering. I’m convinced that Tracktion is the best bang-for-your-buck recording program out there.
If I can find a Mac-compatible replacement for my Creative Nomad Jukebox 3, I’ll be selling my Profile 4 for a Mac mini.
